Alfred P. Tibbetts is a founding partner in Tibbetts, Keating & Butler, LLC. He practices in the areas of real estate and zoning law, trusts and estates, and closely held family business law.
Mr. Tibbetts holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Principia College. He is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut.
An active member of the community, Mr. Tibbetts serves on the board of several charities, including:
- Kids Empowered by Your Support (K.E.Y.S, Inc.) Located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, K.E.Y.S is an arts enrichment program that offers children in grades 4-6 the opportunity to take music lessons and provides practice instruments for children of all socio-economic backgrounds. The program also provides music lessons for local schools that are unable to offer music programs due to lack of funding.
- Turning Wine Into Water, Inc., a charitable organization with a mission to provide sustainable water and sanitation facilities to impoverished regions of the world.
- Darien Arts Center-dedicated to providing support and fostering appreciation for the performing and visual arts.
Mr. Tibbetts also serves as a Justice of the Peace and is a member of the Darien Zoning Board of Appeals and the Board of the
Darien Chamber of Commerce.
