Thomas E. McCabe is an associate attorney with Tibbetts, Keating & Butler LLC. Mr. McCabe is a litigation attorney whose practice emphasizes family law, contract law, white collar criminal defense matters and real estate law. Mr. McCabe also has expertise in the area of health care law, including advising clients on health care and Medicare compliance and regulations.
Mr. McCabe received his Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was elected as the class commencement speaker and served as President of the Environmental Law Society and the Public Interest Law Project. Mr. McCabe received his Bachelor of Science degree from Sacred Heart University, where he served as Student Government Association President and was the recipient of the NCAA Academic All-American Division II Cross Country. Mr. McCabe is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut.
Mr. McCabe is frequently called upon to serve as a speaker at presentations related to health care and Medicare issues. Mr. McCabe has lectured on the Medicare Modernization Act/Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan to various hospitals, including the Bridgeport Hospital and the Norwalk Hospital; nursing homes; assisted living facilities; senior housing and senior centers. He has also served as a speaker at the Yale-New Haven Hospital Cancer Forum and the Northeast Regional Minority Health Care Conference.
